Alaska politics update

Since people seem so keenly interested in Alaska politics now that Tina Fey is running for vice president, I thought I'd give a shout out to the state senator for my district, Lesil McGuire. Her last major spin through the news was related to her husband Tom Anderson, who is serving a prison term for VECO related corruption.

Now McGuire is back in the news for her own actions, namely being taken off of an Alaska Airlines flight by police for being disruptive and drunk. Don't ask me why a South Carolina newspaper has the longest and best version of the AP story: maybe the Daiy News was trying to conserve letters again.
