Uncle Felon update

Hot off the presses, the Alaska Bar Association (which I'm a member of) is pushing hard to get the Alaska Supreme Court to revoke Ted Stevens' license to practice law in Alaska. The felonious ex-senator has already has his law licenses suspended in California and DC.

But this is Alaska, so we're still screwing around with this. Up here, his attorneys have been arguing, basically, that he wasn't really convicted, and that his convictions weren't really crimes. Huh?

The Alaska Supreme Court's Case Management System is a moderately handy way to keep up to date on the pleadings and arguments in Stevens' disbarment case, which is case number S13316.
